The K90 Pro model will receive several upgrades, including an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor under the display and a periscope telephoto lens. As the POCO F8 Ultra is expected to be a rebranded version of the Redmi K90 Pro, this camera technology could also be available on the new F8 Ultra.
The Redmi K80 Pro was launched with a 50MP telephoto shooter and 2.5x optical zoom. It will likely offer improved optical zoom. A leak describes upcoming flagship smartphones from Chinese OEM sub-brands. These next-generation models may be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 processor. The specific name was not mentioned, but this may refer to the OnePlus 14, Realme GT 8 Pro, and Redmi K90.
According to 91Mobiles, the early engineering prototypes will also include periscope telephoto cameras. Since the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ offers similar technology, adding a periscope telephoto lens to the Redmi K series was only a matter of time.
