Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy M06 5G and Galaxy M16 5G will launch in India soon. The design schematics for both smartphones are now available on Amazon India’s microsite.
Amazon’s teaser reveals that the Galaxy M06 5G has a similar design to the Galaxy F06 5G, which was launched just a few weeks ago. Samsung typically sells its F-series smartphones through Flipkart and M-series smartphones through Amazon. Also shown in the teaser is the Samsung Galaxy M16 5G, which features a triple-camera layout inside of a pill-shaped camera module. The specifications, however, are not revealed.
According to Samsung’s Indian support page, the Galaxy M16 5G has 4GB RAM. Like its predecessor, the phone may also offer a 4GB RAM variant. According to Geekbench, the device will use the Dimensity 6300 SoC, have 8GB of RAM, and run Android 14.
Samsung introduced the Galaxy F06 5G with the same Dimensity 6300 SoC but with One UI 7 based on Android 15. Galaxy M06 5G may follow the same path.
As February comes to an end and the first teaser is released, Samsung has yet to announce an official launch date.
