Oppo is reportedly preparing to launch its new Find X8 Ultra and a compact X8-series phone. The X8 Ultra and the other models are expected to launch in China in March now that Oppo has launched the Find N5. In recent Weibo posts, tipsters Digital Chat Station and Smart Pikachu have shared some details about these devices.

The Oppo Find X8 Ultra is set to be the first Ultra-branded flagship from a Chinese manufacturer with a flat display, according to DCS. Xiaomi 15 Ultra and Vivo X200 Ultra, among its upcoming competitors, are expected to feature micro-quad-curved screens.

According to both tipsters, the Find X8 Ultra is also the thinnest and lightest of the upcoming Ultra models. Zhou Yibao, Oppo’s Find Series Product Manager, recently stated that Oppo’s focus this year is on thin and lightweight designs, and the X8 Ultra is no exception.

Find X8 Ultra is expected to feature a 6.8-inch 2K OLED display and Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. There is no doubt that the X8 Ultra’s major highlight will be its Hasselblad quad-camera system. There are two periscope telephoto lenses with 50MP each and a 50MP ultra-wide sensor with 50MP. In addition, the device will have a 6,000mAh battery that supports 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

OPPO Find X8 Mini:

A compact model with a 1.5K LTPO OLED flat display is reportedly being prepared alongside the Ultra variant. According to new reports, this model might be renamed from the Find X8 Mini. One of the slimmest flagships in this size category, this device has a thickness of around 7mm.
