Vivo has been teasing the upcoming V50 for a few days, and today, the brand officially confirmed that it will unveil the device on February 17 at noon local time in India. While vivo has not disclosed the V50’s pricing yet, we can expect more details in 10 days. However, the Indian division of vivo has revealed the phone’s design and some key specifications.
The vivo V50 will be available in three colour variants (at least in India): Rose Red, Starry Night, and Titanium Grey. The phone features a quad-curved punch-hole display protected by Diamond Shield Glass, and it boasts a 50MP front-facing camera. On the rear, there’s a circular camera module with two 50MP sensors—one for the primary camera and the other for the ultrawide lens. vivo highlights that all three cameras have been co-created in collaboration with ZEISS.
Equipped with a 6,000mAh battery, the V50 also comes with IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance ratings. The full set of specifications, along with the pricing and availability details, will be revealed on February 17.
