Samsung India has begun teasing the launch of its next Galaxy F-series smartphone, which will likely be available exclusively on Flipkart and the official Samsung e-store. A dedicated microsite has gone live on Flipkart, centred around the letter “F,” though it only hints that “Samsung got something fresh on the way.” The site refrains from revealing the official marketing name or design details, leaving much to the imagination for now.
The microsite does, however, describe the upcoming Galaxy F-series phone using key terms like ‘futuristic,’ ‘fashionable,’ ‘fast,’ and ‘foto,’ which suggests the device will focus on high performance, strong camera capabilities, and a modern design, appealing to a younger, tech-savvy audience.
While the exact identity of the phone is still under wraps, recent developments have given us some clues. Support pages for both the Samsung Galaxy F06 and Galaxy F16 have appeared on Samsung’s official website, hinting that either one (or both) could be the next F-series release. Although these support pages don’t provide many specifics, the Galaxy F16 has already been spotted on Geekbench with the model number SM-E166P/DS.
From the Geekbench listing, we know that the Galaxy F16 scored 678 in the single-core test and 1902 in the multi-core test, indicating solid performance. The device will come with 8GB of RAM and will run on Android 14 out of the box. It’s rumoured to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, which features six cores clocked at 2.00GHz and two performance cores running at 2.40GHz, pointing to an efficient, mid-range processing unit.
Although Samsung has yet to confirm the exact launch date, we expect more details to emerge in the coming days, possibly shedding light on whether the F06 or F16 is the next big thing in the F-series lineup.
