In a significant development, Acer announced in July 2024 its return to the Indian smartphone scene. The inaugural smartphones under the “Acerone” label have been showcased on the Acerpure website. Acerpure, which is part of the Acer Group, will collaborate with Acer in this new initiative. Below are the main features and design elements of the soon-to-be-released Acerone Liquid S162E4 and Liquid S272E4 models.
Acerone Liquid S162E4
The new Acerone Liquid S162E4 sports a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS LCD Infinity-V display with a 60Hz refresh rate. It comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top. The notch carries a 5MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.0. On the back, the Acerone Liquid S162E4 features dual-rear cameras with a 16MP main shooter with f/1.8 aperture and 0.08MP macro sensor with LED flash.
The Acerone Liquid S162E4 is powered by MediaTek Helio P35 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage. It also comes with a dedicated microSD card slot. It supports dual-band AC WiFi, NFC, and Bluetooth 5.2, as well as speakers.
All this is packed with a 5000 mAh battery with 10W fast charging support and runs on Android 14.
Acerone Liquid S272E4
The new Acerone Liquid S272E4 sports a 6.7-inch HD+ IPS LCD Infinity-V display with a 60Hz refresh rate. It comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top. The notch carries a 5MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.0. On the back, the Acerone Liquid S162E4 features dual-rear cameras with a 20MP main shooter with f/1.8 aperture and a 0.3MP macro sensor with LED flash.
The Acerone Liquid S272E4 is powered by MediaTek Helio G36 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage. It also comes with a dedicated microSD card slot. It supports dual-band AC WiFi, NFC, and Bluetooth 5.2, as well as speakers.
