A new teaser from Redmi teases a phone launch in early 2025 with the tagline “2025G.” The device has not officially been named, but tipster Paras Guglani has identified it as the Redmi 14C 5G.
According to Geekbench, the Indian phone variant has a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor. As a result, Redmi will release the 14R 5G in China in September 2024 and the 14C 4G globally in August 2024. The model numbers show the connection between the Chinese 14R 5G and the Indian 14R 5G: both use “2411DRN47C,” with just the last letter (G) differing between the regions.
These details suggest that the 14C 5G will be the global version of the Chinese 14R 5G. Redmi is releasing its Chinese model worldwide under a different name after making any necessary regional adjustments.
