The Oppo Find X8 and X8 Pro were recently launched globally following their debut in China. In 2025, the company is expected to release the Find X8 Ultra after the Lunar New Year.

On Weibo, renowned tipster Digital Chat Station revealed that the device’s codename is “Everest.” It includes a 2K display, two periscope cameras, a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, and a silicon-carbon battery, which indicates a large battery.

Oppo’s UK social media account briefly stated yesterday that the Find X8 Ultra would not be released globally. The post was quickly removed, but speculation about the device’s availability outside China has ensued.

With the Find X8 Ultra, users will experience a dual periscope telephoto lens for the first time on a Snapdragon 8 Elite smartphone. Compared to single-lens systems, the dual periscope setup seamlessly transitions between 3x and 6x zoom.

Users will have greater creative flexibility with this feature, which is expected to deliver exceptional image quality even at 30x zoom. Previously, the Find X7 Ultra featured a 135mm portrait telephoto lens for striking compositions.
