Vivo has officially announced the launch date for its S20 series in China, following the release of key design and specification details. The series is set to include the Vivo S20 and Vivo S20 Pro, succeeding the Vivo S19 and S19 Pro models that debuted in May.
There’s anticipation that these models, currently open for pre-orders in China, could be introduced to the Indian market and other international locales under the V series branding, a strategy Vivo has employed with previous releases.
Vivo has made an official announcement via Weibo regarding the launch of their latest S20 series smartphones. The event is scheduled for November 28th at 19:00 local time in China, which translates to 7 PM IST. Although specifics about the livestreaming details have not been disclosed, there’s an expectation that the launch will be broadcast live on Vivo’s official website.
The design of the Vivo S20 series includes an oval camera module on the back for the S20, with the Pro variant showcasing an additional sensor outside this module for enhanced photographic capabilities.
This launch marks another step for Vivo in expanding its mid-range offerings, potentially setting the stage for global releases under different model names.
