Redmi has just turned 11, and to mark this significant milestone, the company unveiled a striking new logo—bold, red, and in all caps, symbolizing the brand’s courage and confidence.
Alongside the rebranding, Redmi has announced the launch of their latest flagship series, the K80, set for November 27. The spotlight is on the K80 Pro, for which official images have been released. This model boasts an impressive design with a 1.9mm ultra-narrow bottom bezel, and a balanced 50:50 weight distribution from top to bottom, enhancing the feel in the hand.
The K80 Pro’s display is equally noteworthy, featuring a “2K” resolution for crisp visuals, circular polarization for better visibility, and DC dimming throughout its full brightness range, eliminating the need for PWM dimming which can cause eye strain. An embedded ultrasonic fingerprint sensor adds to the phone’s high-tech allure.
Under the hood, the K80 Pro is anticipated to be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. Charging capabilities are rumored to be robust with the Pro model supporting 120W wired and 50W wireless charging. The regular K80 model, while slightly less powerful in charging, still offers 90W wired and 30W wireless options. Both models will likely come with IP68 certification for dust and water resistance, ensuring durability alongside performance.
