The latest buzz suggests that Redmi’s next wave of flagship smartphones, the K80 and K80 Pro, are set to hit the Chinese market very soon, potentially on November 27, according to a leaked promotional image.
This image not only hints at the launch date but also gives us a glimpse into the phone’s design, which appears to draw inspiration from the Xiaomi 14 Civi. Notably, these devices feature a circular camera setup positioned on the left side of the back, accompanied by a distinctive linear LED flash strip on the right.
This year, the family will consist of just two variants, the K80 and the K80 Pro, if rumours are to be believed. The K80 Pro will feature Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. Both models are expected to come with a 6.67-inch flat screen boasting a 120 Hz refresh rate and “2K” resolution, along with IP68 protection against dust and water. The Pro version will offer 120W wired and 50W wireless charging capabilities, whereas the standard K80 will support 90W wired and 30W wireless charging.
