HMD appears to be preparing to introduce a new flip phone, the HMD Icon Flip 1. The detailed specs have been leaked, and images of the device are available for viewing on X.

Due to its flip design, the HMD Icon Flip 1 makes it easier to handle calls since the mic and earpiece are within easy reach. With a big display, hearing aid compatibility, stellar battery life, and big buttons, you’ll never miss a beat. The device features 48MB RAM, 128MB storage, and runs on the Unisoc T127 processor.
The HMD Icon Flip 1 comes with a 2.8-inch display and a 1.7-inch outer display. It gets dual 4G support with VoLTE. There is a single 2MP FF rear camera & FM radio support. It runs on Series 30+ OS along with Bluetooth 5.0 support. The HMD Icon Flip 1 packs a 1500 mAh battery & also comes with a microSD card slot.
The new HMD Icon Flip 1 comes in Magenta, Bleen, and Glossy Black.
This model appears to be an incrementally enhanced version of the Nokia 2660 Flip from 2022, now stripped of the Nokia branding and sporting the vibrant colour palette characteristic of HMD. For those not fond of HMD’s lively colours like pink, black remains a classic option.
