After taking a break this year, Oppo is set to launch its new foldable model, the Find N5, in China in 2025. Globally, this device will be introduced as the OnePlus Open 2. Although details were limited earlier, recent leaks have begun to provide more information.

Additionally, a tipster known as Smart Pikachu on Weibo has recently disclosed some specifications of the phone along with its anticipated launch timeline.

An insider has revealed that OPPO intends to release the Find N5 foldable phone in the first half of 2025, from January to June. It’s anticipated that this model will include a 50MP triple camera array on the back and be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor.

Oppo is set to release the next in its foldable lineup, the Find N5, which promises to be both slim and lightweight, featuring a durable metal frame. Among its anticipated features, the device is expected to support wireless magnetic charging, a capability that was subtly hinted at in a promotional video for the Find X8 back in September.

One of the standout aspects of the Find N5 is its compatibility with the Apple ecosystem. The device will incorporate the “Share with iPhone” feature, introduced with the Android 15 update. This functionality facilitates easy sharing of media and files between Oppo’s foldable and iPhones, though it necessitates the installation of a specific app on the iPhone for it to work. This integration aims to provide a seamless experience for users moving between different operating systems.
