Keeping with Xiaomi’s release schedule, the next flagship model will be the Redmi K80 series. According to reports, the Redmi K80 and K80 Pro will debut in China by the end of this month. The K80 series will feature a round camera module, according to rumours and a Xiaomi executive’s image. Chinese social media platforms have surfaced an image of the new K80 series phone, aligning with rumours.

As can be seen from the above image, the Redmi K80 series has undergone a major redesign. On the back panel, the circular camera island can be found in the upper-left corner. As with Xiaomi’s Civi smartphones, the design is similar to that of the Xiaomi Civi.

The camera module reveals three lenses and inscriptions that indicate a 50-megapixel primary camera. As for the back, it looks like it might be made of glass due to its shiny appeal. It has a volume rocker and a power button on the right edge.

The Redmi K80 Pro’s rear camera setup will retain the 50MP OmniVision Light Fusion 800 primary camera. There will be a 32MP Samsung S5KKD1 ultra-wide lens and a 50MP Samsung JN5 telephoto camera with 2.6x zoom. In terms of the front-facing camera, the device is likely to sport an upgraded 20MP OV20B.
