The Galaxy S25 is rumored to come in a “Slim” version. Details about this model have trickled out over the past few months, but we might have some damning evidence. SmartPrix may have revealed the model number of the Galaxy S25 Slim.
As we near the assumed January 2025 release date, Samsung Galaxy S25 leaks are inevitable. The latest rumours about the upcoming flagship Android phones suggest that a new “Slim” model might be added to the lineup, and now there’s more evidence.
The GSMA IMEI database has revealed a device that may be the Galaxy S25 Slim, according to Smartprix. With model numbers SM-S931, SM-S936, and SM-S938, the Galaxy S25, S25 Plus, and S25 Ultra were already in the database. In the database, a device with the model number SM-S937 appears, and we expect it to be this Slim model.
According to the outlet, a smartphone is added to this database roughly six to seven months before it is released. As per a previous report, the launch would take place during Q2 2025 (April – June 2025). If the phone launches in Q2 2025, it will launch after the Galaxy S25, S25 Plus, and S25 Ultra, which will launch in January 2025.
Possibly, the Galaxy S25 Slim might borrow some features from the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, while upgrading others for thinness.
