Oppo’s Reno13 series has been gaining attention over the past few days. On November 25, Reno13 and Reno13 Pro are expected to launch in China. On Weibo, tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed new details about the Reno13 Pro. Despite not naming the device directly, the leaked specs suggest it’s the Reno13 Pro.
MediaTek’s Dimensity 8350 processor will power the device, according to Digital Chat Station. Earlier rumours pointed to a Dimensity 9300, but the new leak suggests otherwise.
The Reno12 Pro-Chinese series uses Dimensity 9200+ processors, so this would be a step-down. DCS suggests the top configuration will have 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.
Oppo seems to be focusing on other aspects of the phone this time rather than the processor. With a 6.83-inch display, the device will have a larger quad-curved display than its predecessor.
As with its predecessor, the camera setup is likely to remain the same. The device will be equipped with a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, a 50MP telephoto sensor, and a 50MP selfie camera.
DCS also notes that the Reno13 Pro’s previous engineering model has an IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance rating, an upgrade over the Reno12 Pro’s IP65.
There will also be wireless charging support, a feature that was missing in last year’s model. However, the tipster seems uncertain whether the latter-mentioned specs will make it to retail.
