There are more compact options from other brands that may appeal to those who prefer smaller phones, including the Find X8.
According to reliable tipster Digital Chat Station, Oppo might release a more compact Find X8 series device alongside its Find X8 Ultra this Spring. Smart Pikachu has previously hinted at this rumour.
Sadly, the tipster did not provide any details about the device’s specifications. Vivo’s compact flagship features a 6.31-inch 1.5K display and weighs 187 grams. The standard Find X8 features a 6.59-inch display and a 5630mAh battery with 80W and 50W wireless charging support. According to rumours, the Find X8 mini could come with a slightly smaller battery.
On the other hand, the Find X8 Ultra is expected to come with a dual-periscope telephoto setup and support for 10x hybrid zoom.
Oppo’s AI-driven camera improvements and enhanced image processing should still benefit the compact model even though it sacrifices the dual telephoto setup.
