The Google Pixel 9a smartphone will come with significant upgrades according to a new report, which sheds light on the device. Further, the same source also managed to leak the complete specs sheet of the new Pixel 9a.

The new Google Pixel 9a will sport a 6.3-inch FHD+ Actua 120Hz refresh rate AMOLED flat punch-hole display. It comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The device also comes with HDR10+ support. When playing HDR content, the display can reach 1400 nits with a peak brightness of 2000 nits. It measures 8.9mm thick & weighs 186g.
The new Google Pixel 9a is powered by the new Tensor G4 SoC which comes with a Titan M3 security chip. The phone comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage options.
The Google Pixel 9a comes with a 48MP main wide sensor with f/1.7 aperture coupled with a 13MP ultra-wide shooter with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. Pixel 9a can shoot 4K videos at 60fps. The Pixel 9a comes with a 13MP selfie shooter.
Also included are astrophotography timelapse, 240fps slow motion, fusion video stabilization, Cinematic Pan, 5x digital zoom, and optical image stabilization on the main camera. The software features include Magic Editor, Best Take, Magic Eraser, Photo Unblur, Face Unblur, Real Tone, Top Shot, Live HDR+ and Ultra HDR.
The new Pixel 9a also comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner & Stereo speakers. The Pixel 9a packs a 5000 mAh battery with 18W fast wired charging also 7.5W wireless charging. It runs on the latest Android 15 OS out of the box. It also gets IP68 certified making it dust & water-resistant.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM, Wifi-6, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.3, USB Type-C port, NFC, Dual SIM with 4G LTE, and 5G with mmWave support.
The Pixel 9a will receive seven years of OS, security, and feature updates.

In mid-March 2025, the Pixel 9a is expected to launch. Approximately two months earlier than usual. The $499 price will also remain the same.
