Today, Xiaomi also unveiled the Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro at its event in China, in addition to the much-anticipated Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro. In terms of specs, these are almost flagship tablets, though not quite, since they run on upper-midrange chipsets: the Pad 7 runs on Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3, while the Pad 7 Pro runs on Snapdragon 8s Gen 3.
Xiaomi Pad 7 & Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro:
In China, Xiaomi also announced two new flagship tablets, the Xiaomi Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro. The new Xiaomi Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro will look identical in terms of design but get a slight change in terms of internals. They come with a premium metal unibody with thicker bezels protecting the display on the front.
On the back, the Xiaomi Pad 7 & Pad 7 Pro will feature single and dual rear cameras with LED flash respectively. Further, the Xiaomi Pad 7 & Pad 7 Pro comes in various colours like Black, Blue, and Green colours. Both tablets measure 6.18 mm thick and weigh 500g respectively.
Specs:
The Xiaomi Pad 7 & Pad 7 Pro will sport the same 11.2-inch 3.2K IPS LCD display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 3200 x 2136p. It also supports HDR10, 10bit, and P3 colour gamuts. Both the Xiaomi Pad 7 & Pad 7 Pro come with stylus support with a touch sampling rate of 240Hz. It also gets Dolby Vision with Eye Protection Mode.
The Xiaomi Pad 7 is powered by Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC whereas the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro with Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC. Both of them are coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM and 256GB/512GB UFS 3.1 storage.
The Xiaomi Pad 7 comes with a single 13MP main sensor with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. The Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro comes with a 50MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture. Both tablets support 4K video recording at 30fps. The Xiaomi Pad 7 comes with an 8MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.0, Pad 7 Pro features a 32MP selfie camera.
The connectivity option includes Wifi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and USB Type-C port. It runs on Android 15 with the latest Xiaomi HyperOS 2 on top. The Xiaomi Pad 7 packs 8850 mAh and the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro with 8650 mAh battery with 45W and 67W fast charge support.
Lastly, the Xiaomi Pad 7 comes with quad speakers whereas the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro has eight speakers on either side with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res support.

The Xiaomi Pad 7 with 8GB+128GB costs 1999 Yuan (Rs.23,700/-), 8GB+256GB at 2299 Yuan (Rs.26,900/-) & 12GB+256GB at 2599 Yuan (Rs.30,500/-). The Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro with 8GB+128GB at 2499 Yuan (Rs.29,500/-), 8GB+256GB at 2799 Yuan (Rs.32,990/-), 12GB+256GB at 3099 Yuan (Rs.36,500/-) & 12GB+512GB at 3499 Yuan (Rs.41,500/-) in China.
