The device G011A is registered by HTC in FCC so we can confirm that HTC will be making the next Pixel 2.The same model number G011A was even spotted on WiFi Alliance earlier.With that, FCC leaks always provide some of the details of the device and we have got some screenshot of the device which is running latest Android 8.0.1 out of the box.The device is also running the latest Google security patch.
Apart from that, the Google Pixel 2 is also rumoured to come with HTC Edge Sense which is squeezable display tech one found on HTC U11.The Edge Sense feature will be called as Active Edge for Google Pixel 2.The screenshot also reveals the chip used as it shows 8998 as a model number which is none other than the SD835 chip. The handset is having 64GB internal storage and there is no information regarding RAM.
We have to wait for few more weeks for some more info about the upcoming Google devices.
