The release date of the OnePlus 13 has been confirmed by the company. OnePlus 12’s successor will be unveiled at 4 pm (local time) on Oct. 31 in China. With its Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, it will be one of the first phones to use the new chip.
There will be three colours available for the OnePlus 13. “White Dawn” features Silk Glass technology, providing a sleek and elegant appearance. Introducing BabySkin texture, the “Blue Moment” provides a soft, skin-like feel. A unique and refined look reminiscent of natural wood can be achieved with the “Obsidian Secret”‘s Ebony Wood Grain Glass finish.
OnePlus 13 features a micro-quad-curved display on the front and a circular camera module on the back. The camera module is not fused to the device’s frame, as it was with predecessor models. Three lenses are housed in the camera island, along with an LED flash unit. On the back panel, a metallic ring surrounds the circular camera area, adding a touch of elegance.
The camera module has a horizontal line with a “H” logo (Hasselblad) on it that extends to the edge. OnePlus’ logo is subtly embedded beneath the camera module. There is a metallic finish on the sides of the phones, which gives them a premium appearance.
OnePlus Magnetic Turbine:
The new OnePlus Magnetic Turbine wireless charger is designed for faster, more efficient charging. AirVOOC wireless charging supports up to 50W and sports a clean white design with a red accent.
It features a built-in fan that manages heat during use. OnePlus China’s President Li Jie describes it as offering the highest charging wattage while addressing thermal issues. To manage heat effectively, it features a centrifugal fan core, TEC cooling, heat-dissipating fins, a silicone pad, and an aluminium sheet.
On October 24, Oppo will release its magnetic charger and additional accessories with the Find X8 series in China. As OnePlus prepares to launch its OnePlus 13, this magnetic charger launches at the right time. Wireless charging on the OnePlus 13 is expected to support 50W, maximizing its potential.
More launches of magnetic charging technology are expected soon from Oppo and OnePlus. These magnetic chargers will not only work with Oppo and OnePlus devices, but also with iPhones.
