Samsung’s new products will be launched at an event today, October 21st. Even though the company hasn’t officially confirmed what it’ll unveil, the Galaxy Z Fold6 Special Edition will likely be it.

The phone has only been seen once, in a leaked render. Thanks to a new leak, we now have the first live image of the Special Edition Fold.

@Jukanlosreve leaked some blurry images of the upcoming foldable on X (formerly Twitter). The Samsung Galaxy W25 is rumoured to be the model for the Chinese market.

A distinctive logo at the bottom, used for Samsung’s Chinese foldable, makes it recognizable. After China, its only other market will be Korea, which will be called Galaxy Fold Special Edition.

Sadly, there are no specific details about the phone revealed in the leak. According to the image of the phone folded, it looks thinner than the standard Fold. We still don’t know how thick it is.

There is speculation that the Z Fold6 SE will have an 8-inch unfolded inner display, up from the standard Z Fold 6’s 7.6 inches. Furthermore, the outer display is expected to grow from 6.3 inches to 6.5 inches.

Previous reports indicate that the new fold will have a smaller display crease than the standard Z Fold 6. This would be a welcome improvement since previous models have not made much progress in this area.

Additionally, the new foldable phone is rumoured to feature a 200MP camera. The camera quality will even surpass that of the Galaxy S24 Ultra, according to reliable leaker Ice Universe.
