Pre-orders for the Pixel 9 Pro, the company’s latest flagship smartphone in the Pixel 9 series, have begun in India, as promised when it was introduced along with the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro XL back in August.

The new Google Pixel 9 Pro XL will sport a 6.7-inch & Pixel 9 pro with a 6.3-inch QHD+ (2992 × 1344p) 1-120Hz refresh rate Super Actua flat punch-hole display. It comes with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 & also gets HDR10+ support. Further whopping 2400 nits of peak brightness.
The new Google Pixel 9 Pro & 9 Pro XL is powered by the new Tensor G4 SoC that comes with a Titan M2 security chip. It is coupled with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage options.
The Pixel 9 Pro & Pro XL features the same 50MP main Octa PD wide camera with f/1.68 aperture & 82-degrees FOV. It is coupled with a 48MP Quad PD ultra-wide shooter with an aperture f/1.95 & 125.5-degree FOV. Lastly, there is a 48MP Quad PD telephoto lens with an aperture of f/2.8, 5x optical zoom & 21.8-degrees FOV. The Pixel 9 Pro series will feature a 42MP Dual PD selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.2 AF with a 4K video recording feature. There is also a temperature sensor this time.
The new Pixel 9 Pro series will also feature IP68-rated dust and water resistance and also comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner. It also comes with Stereo speakers.
The Google Pixel 9 Pro packs lower 4558mAh & comes with 45W fast wired charging and 23W/12W wireless charging support. Further, the Pixel 9 Pro XL ships with a massive 5000mAh battery with 45W fast charge. It runs on the latest Android 15 OS out of the box.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM, Wi-Fi 7, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.4, USB Type-C port, NFC, Dual SIM with 4G LTE, and 5G with mmWave support.
Pro devices come with a year of Google One AI Premium, which includes Gemini Advanced access, Gemini in Gmail and Docs, and 2TB of Google Cloud storage. With Pixel drops, all new handsets come with seven years of OS and security updates.

The Google Pixel 9 Pro is available in Porcelain, Rose Quartz, Haze and Obsidian colors and costs Rs. 1,09,999 for the 16GB + 256GB model in India. Pre-orders are now available on Flipkart, as well as at more than 150 Croma and Reliance Retail stores nationwide.
