Samsung has now officially confirmed the release date for its “Special Edition” Galaxy Z Fold. On October 21, Samsung will unveil a new Galaxy. Samsung hasn’t revealed the name of the rumored Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, but we can expect it next Monday. Below is a video teaser shared by Samsung.

This upcoming foldable may also be called the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition or Galaxy Z Fold6 Special Edition. According to a leaked image, the smartphone will be thinner than the standard Galaxy Z Fold6.

When unfolded, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 Special Edition measures 4.9mm thin, while when folded, it measures 10.6mm thin. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, have a 200 MP primary camera, and have an IP48 rating, according to rumours. As far as the diagonal measurements go, the cover screen is 6.5″ and the folding screen is 8″.

This upcoming folding smartphone will be unveiled in just four days.
