As part of today’s announcement, Apple upgraded the iPad mini to include an A17 Pro chip and Apple Intelligence support. With its compact 8.3-inch design and notable performance improvements, the refreshed seventh-generation tablet maintains its compactness.
Design:
iPad mini will likely be a compact version of the seventh-generation iPad Air. The iPad Mini 7 will feature an 8.4-inch Liquid Retina display with a 60Hz refresh rate and uniform bezels. It got dimensions of 206 x 137 x 6.1mm.
On the back, we got the all-aluminum body with a single rear camera with LED flash. On the front, we just got a bezel-less display without any notch this time. As expected the iPad Mini 7 will get the Touch ID sensor mounted on the power button. On the bottom, the new iPad Mini 7 ships with a USB Type-C port this time with speaker mesh on either side.
Specs:
The new iPad Mini comes with 8.3 inches Liquid Retina display with narrow borders. The display comes with 500 nits of brightness, a P3 wide color gamut, anti-reflective screen coating, True Tone support.
It is powered by the latest Apple A17 Pro processor. According to Apple, the A17 Pro chip increases CPU and GPU performance by 30% and 25%, respectively. The new Apple Intelligence offers improved writing tools, improved image generation, and enhanced task automation. To balance performance and privacy, the system uses both on-device processing and cloud-based models. Apple Intelligence features will be available in English with iPadOS 18.1 this month.
Yet again the new iPad Mini features a 12MP center stage ultra-wide selfie shooter. On the back, there is a 12MP single camera with Focus Pixels and a larger aperture & LED flash. Other improvements include Wi-Fi 6E support and faster USB-C data transfer.
Apple Pencil Pro also supports the new iPad mini, which offers pressure sensitivity, haptic feedback, and gesture controls.

The new Wi-Fi models of iPad mini are available with a starting price of Rs.49,900/- for 128GB & Wifi+5G at Rs.64,900/-. The 256GB Wifi only costs Rs.59,900/- & Wif+5G at Rs.74,900/-.
