Xiaomi 15 Ultra will be equipped with a Samsung ISOCELL HP9 200MP periscope telephoto camera, according to reports. Vivo X100 Ultra debuted earlier this year in China with a periscope zoom camera.
According to the source, the tipster has revealed the camera details of an upcoming phone, but not its name. The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is more likely to be the device he is referring to. The leak indicates the 200MP periscope telephoto camera will feature a 100mm focal length, an aperture of f/2.6, and an optical zoom of 4.3x. Other specifications were not disclosed.
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra will reportedly feature the 50-megapixel LYT-900 primary camera, the 50-megapixel Sony IMX858 ultra-wide lens, and the 50-megapixel Sony IMX858 telephoto camera. In addition to a periscope telephoto camera, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra has identical cameras to the Xiaomi 14 Ultra.
Xiaomi 15 Ultra’s launch timeframe has also been mentioned by DCS. The device is projected to launch after the Lunar New Year, suggesting a release by February or by the first quarter of 2025 at the latest.
