There will be four companies launching Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered smartphones in the last week of October, according to DCS. A performance-focused flat-screen phone will go on sale on Oct. 30 in China, while an all-around camera phone will debut on Oct. 29. OnePlus 13 and iQOO 13 are two possible candidates.
Xiaomi 15 series may debut on Oct. 28 while Magic 7 is also expected to debut in the last week of October.
No Halo Light on iQOO 13:
According to recent images of the iQOO 13, the camera island is surrounded by a halo light strip. A prominent iQOO executive, Galant V, has consistently spilt details about the iQOO 13, claiming that there are no visible light strips in the device, instead, it uses an ingenious lighting technique. iQOO’s designers enjoy taking on challenges and creating unique, differentiated features, just like our fans.
iQOO 13 will be equipped with BOE’s latest Q10 panel, featuring 2K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. In comparison to competitors, the Q10 display reportedly boasts a higher brightness, a longer lifespan, and a lower colour deviation.
From the high-resolution display to the secure fingerprint sensor and a larger battery, the iQOO 13 brings some much-needed upgrades. In the Indian market, we expect the iQOO 13 to start at around Rs 55,000.
iQOO 13:
The iQOO 13 arrives with the same 6.78-inch 2K OLED BOE Q10 display on the front. It does come with an adaptive refresh rate of up to 144Hz with HDR10+ support. The display also features a whopping 3000 nits of peak brightness.
As expected the iQOO 13 will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB LPDDR5x RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB UFS 4.0 storage space. The device will come with a 50MP Sony IMX921 main sensor coupled with gimble stabilization. There is a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultra-wide with f/2.2 & 50MP Sony IMX826 telephoto lens (f/2.46) with 2x optical zoom & OIS. It also gets massive 100x digital zoom support.
There is a 32MP selfie shooter on the front. The new iQOO 13 will pack a 6100 mAh battery with a whopping 120W fast wired charging. It runs on Android 15 OS with Origin OS 5 on top.
It comes with stereo speakers with Hi-Res Audio support. The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE, NFC, IR Blaster, 5G, A-GPS, GLONASS, Wifi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and USB Type-C port. The device also gets an IP68-rated & extra-large X-axis linear motor for haptic feedback.
