As promised, we have the specifications of the Xiaomi Pad 7, thanks to tipster @experiencemore, after over a year since the Xiaomi Pad 7 series was introduced.
Xiaomi’s Pad 7 series is expected to feature an 11.16-inch 144Hz LCD screen, slightly larger than its predecessor’s 11-inch 2.8K screen. As opposed to the Snapdragon 870 in the predecessor, the Xiaomi Pad 7 is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC.
Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro, on the other hand, is said to receive a Snapdragon 8s Gen3 SoC instead of Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1.
With Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro is still powerful, so it will remain a flagship this year, according to the tipster. There should be no performance issues in the long run since Xiaomi will support the tablet for four or five years.
While the Xiaomi Pad 7 will support 45W fast charging, compared to the predecessor’s 33W, the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro will retain 67W fast charging. The battery capacity and camera specifications have not yet been released.
Xiaomi Pad 7 series passed network certification on August 27th. This month, they will be introduced along with the Xiaomi 15 series.
