In China, Xiaomi will launch its Pad 7 series tablet later this month, likely starting with two models. Xiaomi’s Pad 7 Pro could feature an OLED display, but its performance may not be top-tier due to the sub-flagship chip, possibly the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 or Snapdragon 8s Gen 3.

According to a new rumour, Xiaomi also plans a higher-end device, the Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra. A new leak from Weibo tipster Smart Pikachu mentions the Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra briefly. This will be the first Xiaomi tablet with the “Ultra” label. Additionally, Redmi’s gaming tablet is mentioned, but no specifics were revealed by the tipster.

The tablet is likely to be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, or possibly the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. The Redmi gaming tablet may also feature a Snapdragon 8-series chip, according to a prior report. The Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra and Redmi gaming tablets will launch early next year, Smart Pikachu said.

Xiaomi is expected to launch the Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro alongside the Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro. Xiaomi 15 Ultra is also expected to debut early next year, which could coincide with the Pad 7 Ultra and Redmi gaming tablet.
