The much-awaited One UI 7 beta update will be rolling out before the end of the year, according to Samsung. According to the company’s official blog post, developers will only be able to access the beta. As of now, Samsung has confirmed that One UI 7 will also be available as a public beta.
The One UI beta will not be restricted to developers, according to a member and moderator of Samsung’s Community forum. A public release will take place “when the schedule is confirmed,” and users will be notified via the Samsung Members app once the beta starts rolling out.
It’s not all that surprising that Samsung is rolling out a public beta of One UI 7. For previous versions of One UI, the company did the same thing. Only one confusion was caused this time, as the company only announced One UI 7’s beta availability to developers. By the end of the year, Android 15-based software may only be accessible to developers. The public beta release of One UI 7 might get pushed to early next year since Samsung plans to launch One UI 7 with the next set of Galaxy flagships.
