Honor Magic V3 foldable has been around for some time now, at least in China, but during IFA in Berlin this year, the company announced the device would go global as well. The V3 will be available in India very soon.
In an exclusive interview, HTech CEO Madhav Sheth revealed plans to release two foldable smartphones in India by the end of 2024. Under Rs 1 lakh, the Magic V2 will be one of India’s most affordable foldable phones.
Magic V2 and Magic V3 are currently undergoing testing, with a launch later this year, according to Times Network and Digit. As one of the slimmest foldables in the world, the Magic V2 will be priced under Rs 1 lakh, making it one of the most affordable foldable phones in India. The more premium Magic V3 will cost over Rs 1 lakh. Since reentering the market last year, Honor has made its boldest move into India’s premium smartphone segment.
We launched these foldables based on the Magic 6 Pro’s success in India. Before buying their first foldable phone, Indian consumers should experience the Magic V2,” explained Sheth.
Honor introduces the Magic V2 and V3 to take on Samsung’s market dominance. Even as OnePlus, Vivo, and Google enter the foldable space, Honor’s affordable pricing strategy could have a significant impact.
