Samsung’s next generation of Android tablets is here, but it is one member short. It was inevitable, but the vanilla 11″ slate has been dropped, leaving only the 12.4″ Plus and 14.6″ Ultra models.

Design:

Design-wise, the Galaxy Tab S10 Plus and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra are very similar. On the ‘Ultra’ model, the only differences will be the notch and the thinner bezels.

 

When held in landscape mode, the ‘Ultra’ model will have a notch centred at the top of the screen. On both devices, there will be two cameras on the back and flat sides all around. It will have slightly curved sides toward the edges. Both the front and back sides of each tablet will be flat.

Moreover, both tablets will support stylus input and will be thin. The tablets will also come with stereo speakers and speaker grilles on the top and bottom. Both tablet comes in two colors Moonstone Gray and Platinum Silver.

For Wi-Fi and 5G models, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra weighs 718 grams and 723 grams, respectively. There will be two versions of the Galaxy Tab S10+, weighing 571 grams and 576 grams, respectively. Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra measures 208.6 x 326.4 x 5.4mm. The Galaxy Tab S10+ measures 185.4 x 285.4 x 5.6mm.

Specs:

The Galaxy Tab S10+ sports a larger 12.7 inches (2800 x 1752p) & Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra with 14.6 inches (2960 x 1848p) Dynamic AMOLED 2X WQXGA+ Anti-Reflection display with 120Hz refresh rate. Both of them come with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on top with HDR10+ support & Enhanced Armor Aluminum frame.

The new Galaxy Tab S10+ & Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra will be powered by the new Dimensity 9300+ SoC. It is coupled with 12GB/16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB/512GB/1TB UFS 3.1 storage with a microSD card slot. Both the devices come with S-Pen support.

 

The Galaxy Tab S10+ & Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra feature a 13MP main sensor with f/2.0 aperture along with an 8MP ultra-wide having an aperture f/2.2 with LED flash & AF. The  Galaxy Tab S10+ features a single 12MP f/2.0 aperture selfie shooter whereas the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra features a 12MP main sensor (f/2.2) along with a 12MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture.

It comes with common connectivity options like USB-C 3.2 Gen 1, Wi-Fi-7(Ultra), Wifi 6e (S10+), Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, Galileo, ANT+, (5G optional). It also comes with quad-speakers with Dolby Atmos support.

The new Galaxy Tab S10+ with 10,090 mAh & Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra with a massive 11,200 mAh battery. Both the tablets might come with 45W fast charging support & run on Android 14 OS with One UI 6.1.1 on top. The Galaxy Tab S10+ measures 5.6mm whereas Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra at just 5.4mm thick. The Galaxy S10 Ultra weighs 723g whereas the Galaxy Tab S10+ weighs about 576g.

Galaxy AI:

The Galaxy AI features will also be included in the package, of course. On both devices, you’ll get Circle to Search, Note Assist, Transcript Assist, Drawing Assist, Photo Assist, Translator, Live Translate, and Chat Assist.

It includes the now-familiar Galaxy AI features, but there are new ways to use them. Air Command with AI can be invoked using the S Pen (which comes with tablets) for easy access to the Galaxy AI Assistant. The Galaxy AI Key can be used with a keyboard cover if you are using a Galaxy Book laptop. Circle to Search, Sketch to Image, and Note Assist help you organize your notes, transcribe and summarize speech recordings, and even convert PDF files. While handwriting transcription is available, you can use Handwriting Help to tidy things up a bit and make them easier to read while keeping the handwritten look.

Pricing:

Pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra begin today, and the devices will be available starting October 3. In India, the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra and Galaxy Tab S10+ will be available in Moonstone Grey and Platinum Silver from 27 September 2024.

With the Tab S10+, prices start at $1,000 (Rs.83,700/-), and with the Tab S10 Ultra, they begin at $1,200 (Rs.1,00,500/-).
