In a new leak, we get a closer look at the OnePlus 13’s design and camera system. This latest information confirms that it will have the next-generation Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip.

Digital Chat Station shared an image of the OnePlus 13 with a protective cover. The camera module is prominent in the image even though the phone’s full design is hidden.

OnePlus 13’s camera is separate from the edge of the phone, unlike previous flagships.

It also reveals some technical details about the camera system. Similar to the iPhone 16 Pro Max, the periscope telephoto lens uses a more efficient structure.

In addition to a slightly larger main sensor, the telephoto lens offers 3x optical zoom. Given that both companies share the same parent company, it makes sense that the OnePlus 13 is rumoured to use the same image processing algorithms as the Oppo Find X8.

The tipster did not specify the exact camera sensors, but previous leaks suggest the OnePlus 13 will feature a 50-megapixel LYT-808 sensor with optical image stabilization. For ultra-wide and telephoto shots, two LYT-600 sensors are likely to be added.

This leak provides another piece of the puzzle for the OnePlus 13, even if it doesn’t reveal much beyond the camera design. Thanks to the rumoured Oppo Find X8 influence, we can expect an enhanced camera system with telephoto capabilities and top-tier image processing.

By the end of October, the OnePlus 13 will be available in China, with a global release following in January 2025. If there are any updates on the phone, we will keep you posted.
