Nothing is likely planning to launch a new 140W GaN charger under its sub-brand, CMF. Although the launch hasn’t been officially announced, a new listing on Flipkart suggests it will happen soon.
According to the listing on X (formerly Twitter), the charger has a matte black finish with the CMF logo and a 140W GaN inscription. The device has two USB Type-C ports and one USB Type-A port.
An accompanying poster highlights the charger’s specifications. There are nine safety mechanisms and intelligent power distribution, but there is no indication of what the power output will be when each port is used individually or when the ports are combined.
The poster confirms that the charger supports PD 3.1 protection and can charge two laptops simultaneously. In just 30 minutes, it can charge a MacBook Pro to 55%.
In just 30 minutes, the charger can power Nothing’s smartphones, including the CMF Phone 1 and Nothing Phone (2a).
The listing shows an EMI plan of Rs 294 per month for 24 months. Based on it, the total cost will be around Rs 7,000, but interest is likely to be included as well.
There is no listing for the charger on Flipkart, but a user in the original post suggests it is priced at Rs 6,000.
The company has not yet announced when they will launch the adapter, but they will unveil their first open-ear earbuds on September 24th – tomorrow. The charger may also be unveiled at this event.
Note that it isn’t the first GaN charger under the Nothing by CMF brand. Last year, the company launched a 65W model for Rs 2,999 in India or USD 49 in the US.
