According to reports, OnePlus will announce the OnePlus 13 by the end of October in China. The OnePlus Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro are expected to be unveiled after the OP13. Tipster Digital Chat Sation has leaked some details about the Ace 5 models, including its camera specifications.
In the above Weibo post, the tipster mentions two upcoming OnePlus phones, the SM8650 and SM8750, based on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Gen 4 chipsets, respectively. These chipsets are believed to power the OnePlus Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro, according to previous leaks by the same tipster.
OnePlus Ace 5 series will feature 1.5K BOE X2 OLED screen. Both devices will feature a 50-megapixel Sony IMX9-series camera with a large sensor size of 1/1.56 inches for photography. The primary camera will be complemented by a 50-megapixel telephoto lens.
There will be a 6,000mAh silicon battery under the hood of the Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro. In November 2024, the Ace 5 duo is expected to compete with the Redmi K80 and K80 Pro. The Ace 5 series will, however, launch in December, at the latest in January, according to DCS.
