A new Galaxy M-series smartphone has been launched by Samsung in India. The Galaxy M55s 5G follows the Galaxy M55 5G released earlier this year. There are only a few minor differences between the latest offering and the M55 5G. The main difference between the two devices is their pricing.

Samsung Galaxy M55s:

The Galaxy M55s 5G sports a larger 6.7 inches FHD+ Super AMOLED+ display with 120Hz refresh rates. It comes with optical in-display fingerprint scanner support with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top. The Galaxy M55s 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM and a 128GB/256GB storage option. There is also an option to expand the memory through a microSD card slot.

 

The new Galaxy M55s 5G will feature triple-rear cameras with a 50MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture with OIS, an 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture and LED flash. The device comes with a 50MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.2. With features like Nightography, Dual recording, and OIS and VDIS, you can record stable videos in 4K.

 

The Galaxy M55s 5G will ship with the larger 5000 mAh battery but comes with 45W fast charge support. The device weighs just 180g & measures 7.8mm thick.

The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 5G, Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Wifi 6.0, A-GPS, NFC, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.2, USB Type-C port, FM Radio, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Samsung Galaxy M55 5G runs on Android 14 with One UI 6.1 on top. There will be five generations of operating system updates and five years of security updates.

The Samsung Galaxy M55s comes in Thunder Black and Coral Green.

Pricing:

It is priced at Rs. 19,999 for 8GB + 128GB in India. The pricing of the 8+256GB and 12+256GB has not been revealed.
