The Galaxy A55 was launched by Samsung in March. The Galaxy A56, however, is already in the works. On the IMEI database, the phone is listed as Galaxy A56 5G with model number SM-A566B/DS. The phone appears to be in the process of being developed.
Samsung’s Galaxy A56 is expected to feature the new Exynos 1580 chipset. This chipset features Cortex-A720 and Cortex-A520 cores, according to the Samsung community. The GPU is the advanced Xclipse 540. Also, the Exynos 1580 will be equipped with an upgraded NPU, capable of handling Galaxy AI and rivalling the flagship Exynos 2100. Our conclusions about the overall capabilities of the chipset will need to be informed by its real-world performance.
Previously, the chipset scored 1046 and 3578 on Geekbench for single and multi-core. According to Geekbench, it was running Android version 15 on the device. Also, the chip appears to have a 1+3+4 architecture, which indicates a performance upgrade over the predecessor’s 4+4 architecture.
Although little is known about the Galaxy A56’s other features, it’s possible to get an idea from the predecessor.
