Last month, Vivo unveiled its V40 series of mid-range smartphones in India, which focused on camera performance. We already know that Vivo is developing a model called the V40e. The Vivo V40e has surfaced in another leak ahead of its official announcement, revealing more details about its specs and pricing. SmartPrix provided the new information.
Specs:
Vivo V40e specs were also shared in the report. Rumours suggest it will have a tall 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution. The screen is the same as the one on the base V40 and the higher-end V40 Pro. There could be a 3D curved panel and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. The MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC may power the Vivo V04e.
It may feature a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 2MP sensor. For selfies and video calls, there is a 50MP camera on the front, which might be a Samsung JNI sensor. With 80W wired fast charging, the V40e will be powered by a massive 5,500mAh battery. It could run the Android 14 OS-based FuntouchOS 14 custom skin out of the box and be dust and water-resistant to IP65.
Pricing:
Monsoon Green and Royal Bronze appear to be the two colour options for the V40e. Vivo V40e is expected to be available in two storage configurations: 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256 GB. It is expected that the mid-range phone will be sold in India between INR 20,000 and INR 30,000. OnePlus Nord 4 and Nothing Phone (2a) will likely be its main competitors.
