Through its Weibo account in China, Redmi announced two significant milestones today. With 420 million units sold globally, the Redmi Note series is celebrating its tenth anniversary. In addition, Redmi will release the Redmi Note 14 series this month.
In its ten-year history, the Redmi Note series has sold over 420 million units worldwide. This month, Redmi will launch the Note 14 series as part of the celebration. In September 2023, the Note 13 series was announced.
There will be three models in the upcoming Note series: the Redmi Note 14, the Redmi Note 14 Pro, and the Redmi Note 14 Pro+. Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 and Dimensity 7350 are said to power the Pro models.
Redmi’s first curved screen model this year will have a 1.5K curved display, maintaining the design consistency seen in the previous Note 13 Pro+. According to leaks, the Pro series will have a large centrally aligned triple camera setup with a design that resembles the Xiaomi logo and a high-end aesthetic. There is expected to be a 50-megapixel main camera on the Pro models.
It is not known when the Note 14 series will launch globally. Global markets may receive it by the first quarter of 2025.
