Honor confirmed today that the Honor 200 Lite smartphone will be launched in India soon. On September 19th, it will debut in the country, but it was already launched in April in Europe. Along with the announcement, the company teased some of the features.

Specs:

On the rear, the phone will feature a triple camera setup boasting a 108MP sensor with an aperture of f/1.75, an ultrawide sensor with an aperture of f/2.2, and a macro sensor with an aperture of f/2.4. The latter two are 5MP and 2MP, respectively.

In Honor’s words, the phone is “specialized in portraits” and can take “1x Environmental Portrait, 2x Atmospheric Portrait, and 3x Close-up Portrait” images.

There is a 50MP front camera on the phone for taking selfies. Additionally, this camera has AI Wide-angle Selfie functionality that automatically adjusts to a 90° field of view to ensure everyone is included in group selfies. The Selfie Light is also included for well-lit front-facing photos in low-light conditions.

Honor touts the phone’s sleek and durable design beyond its cameras. It measures just 6.78mm thick and weighs 166 grams.

For added peace of mind, the phone has earned a 5-star Drop Resistance certification from SGS.

Honor hasn’t revealed any other details, but the phone is powered by a Dimensity 6080 chip and runs MagicOS 8.0 based on Android. Powered by a 4500mAh battery, it supports 35W charging.

In India, the Honor 200 Lite will be available in Starry Blue, Cyan Lake, and Midnight Black colors. On September 19th, it will be available through Amazon.in, exploreHonor.com, and select mainline stores.
