Realme has just announced the launch date of its upcoming budget tablet in India. Realme Pad 2 Lite is the company’s new tablet. The tablet’s launch date and design are revealed in a new teaser.
Realme Pad 2 Lite will be released in India on 13th September 2024, according to the teaser. It will launch alongside the Realme P2 Pro, a new smartphone. Realme Pad 2 Lite is a budget tablet with some capable hardware. Some of its key specs and features were also revealed in the teaser.

It will come with a tall display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 2K resolution (1920 x 1200 pixels). There is a maximum brightness of 450 nits on this Eye Comfort display. This device is powered by a massive 8,300mAh battery. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 SoC. With 8GB of RAM (up to 16GB via virtual RAM expansion).
Realme Pad 2 Lite runs Android 14 OS out of the box with Realme UI 5.0. The design and specs resemble the Realme Pad 2, but with some cutbacks. It is also expected that the new Lite variant will support 15W wired fast charging. According to reports, it will have an 8-megapixel camera on the back and a 5-megapixel selfie camera. A quad stereo speaker setup enhances audio quality.
