There is now an ANC model for Apple AirPods 4! At the iPhone 16 “Glowtime” event, Apple finally announced their AirPods 4 successor as a replacement for Apple’s bog-standard earbuds without ANC.

In addition to Apple’s Personalized Spatial Audio, the non-Pro AirPods are comfortable, have a long battery life, and boast the street cred of the world’s most popular earbuds.

The new AirPods 4 features an ANC option, an H2 audio chip, an updated case design, and wireless charging! In addition to shortened stems and ports for charging via a USB-C case, the new AirPods look a lot like a mash-up of a regular AirPod and the AirPod Pro 2. Similar to the AirPods Pro charging case, the case for the more expensive AirPods 4 version with ANC also comes with wireless charging and a tiny speaker for buzzing you when you lose the case.

There are no replaceable tips on the AirPods 4, but Apple promises a more secure fit for both models.

With the H2 audio chip from the Pro model, Apple has enhanced the Personalized Spatial Audio feature of AirPods 4, as well as sped up pairing and device changes. For a truly well-rounded earbud experience, Apple can also introduce quality active noise cancellation.

The more expensive AirPods with noise cancellation are the fourth-generation. The AirPods 4 with ANC sells it for $179 (Rs.15,200/-). The basic AirPods 4 model is $129 (Rs10,900/-), so Apple keeps the pricing largely the same, just adding more features and a new design.

In India, AirPods 4 with ANC cost Rs.17,900/- whereas the base variant at Rs.12,900/-/
