It’s a great time to be a Realme user in India right now. Realme 13 5G and Realme 13+ were launched last week in the country, and the Narzo 70 Turbo will be launched on September 9. Nevertheless, that isn’t the only smartphone Realme will unveil in India next week, as the company announced today it will unveil the Realme P2 Pro on Sept 13.
However, Realme confirmed the P2 Pro will pack a 120Hz curved AMOLED display and support 80W charging. In the image shared by Realme, the P2 Pro is shown in green and has an OIS primary camera, while on Flipkart’s promo page, it is stated that the P2 Pro is powered by Snapdragon. On September 10, we’ll find out which one it is.
Realme P1 Pro 5G:
Realme P1 Pro 5G will arrive with a 6.67-inch FHD+ (2400×1080p) curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner and 2000-nits of peak brightness. The device also gets Rainwater Smart Touch, and Sunlight Screen technology for better outdoor readability.
The new Realme P1 Pro 5G is powered by the latest Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage space.
The device will feature dual-rear cameras with a 50MP LYT-600 main sensor, OIS coupled with a 2MP macro sensor with LED flash. There is a 16MP selfie shooter under the punch-hole notch. All this is packed with a 5000 mAh battery with 45W fast charge support. The device also gets 7-layer 3D VC cooling system to keep the temperature under control.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Dual Band Wifi, Dual Frequency (L1 + L5) GPS, NFC, A-GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C port, FM Radio and Bluetooth 5.2. It comes with IP65 certification making it dust and water-resistant.
It runs on Android 14 OS with Realme 5.0 on top. The device measures 7.9mm thick and weighs 190g. The Realme P1 Pro 5G comes in two colors Parrot Blue and Phoenix Red.
