Compared to both the Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max and Google Pixel 9 Pro XL, Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Ultra will be thinner and lighter. A well-known tipster, Ice Universe, confirmed this.
We have no reason to doubt Ice Universe’s accuracy with such information. The Galaxy S25 Ultra was shown off in some more images he shared earlier today. Rather than leaks, these are renders made by a third party. Nevertheless, they reflect the actual design of the phone.
As for the phone’s thinness and lightness, the tipster confirmed it with X. Ice Universe has not yet shared exact numbers, however. It is possible, however, to draw some conclusions from what he said.
Since it will weigh less than the Pixel 9 Pro XL (221 grams), its predecessor will also be considerably lighter. In terms of weight, the Galaxy S24 Ultra measures 232 grams. This time around, it will be over 10 grams lighter.
In terms of weight, the iPhone 16 Pro Max will be similar to the Pixel 9 Pro XL. The exact numbers are still unknown, so we’ll leave that comparison out for now.
There is no doubt that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will weigh under 221 grams. It is only a question of how much it will weigh. We’ll have to wait either for a solid leak or for the phone to launch.
Early 2025 is the expected release date for this smartphone. As with the Galaxy S24 series, we expect it to launch in January. However, Samsung may reorganize things.
