In October, several flagship phones powered by next-generation chipsets are expected to launch in China. Vivo is expected to release its new flagship devices first, beginning with the Vivo X200 series, which includes three models: the X200, the X200+, and the X200 Pro. Weibo leaker Digital Chat Station reportedly revealed the launch timeframe for the X200 series in a new post.
According to the leaker, three dates will take place in the third week of October. Based on the image, the tipster may be hinting at the Vivo X200 series’ launch timeframe by showing the in-house calendar app for China. In this regard, October 14, 15, or 16 may be the likely dates for the launch event for the X200 series.
Vivo’s X200 series will have a Dimensity 9400 chipset. MediaTek is likely to announce the D9400 chip shortly after the X200 series launch event. MediaTek’s new flagship chip is expected to improve CPU performance by 30 percent.
The Oppo Find X8 series with the D9400 chip is expected to debut in October soon after the X200 series. There will be two models in the lineup, such as the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro.
