On August 14th, Realme will launch what it claims is the fastest charging technology in the world. According to rumours, it will be Realme’s 300W fast charging technology. 91mobiles has received a video that shows Realme’s fast charging technology in action ahead of its launch. There is even a rumour that the charging technology might be higher than 300W.

Realme demonstrates its fast charging technology in the video below by plugging a phone along with a timer to show the charging time. The phone charges from 0 to 17 percent in just 35 seconds. No details have been revealed about the battery capacity of the phone, nor has it been confirmed how long it would take to charge fully. If the brand offered ultra-fast charging, the results would still be impressive.

The event is expected to showcase Realme’s 300W fast-charging technology. There is, however, a rumour that the charging speed might exceed 300W. Since Realme is aiming for the world’s fastest charging technology tag, Redmi has already claimed it. Last year, Xiaomi unveiled its 300W fast charging technology.

As far as ultra-fast charging is concerned, Realme is no stranger to the technology. The Realme GT Neo 5 smartphone is already equipped with 240W fast charging technology. According to the manufacturer, it can charge the phone’s 4,600mAh battery from 0 to 100 percent in less than 10 minutes. With the 240W charger, you can charge your device from 0 to 20 percent in 80 seconds, and from 0 to 50 percent in four minutes.

The fast-charging technology will be unveiled at Realme’s annual 828 Fan Festival next week.
