As part of the upcoming One UI 7 update, Samsung is reportedly developing a new Game module for its Good Lock customization platform. With this new module, users will have more control over game settings than with Game Booster and Game Booster Plus.
A Samsung moderator confirmed that the company is exploring ways to offer more advanced customization options for game settings.
The current Game Booster plugin offers several essential tools for gamers, however, many enthusiasts have requested more advanced settings. With the new Game module, we can meet this demand by offering a platform that is more flexible and customizable.
The Game Booster plugin itself may also be undergoing a redesign by Samsung. According to the moderator, the Game Booster’s current interface is “overly complicated” and “poor usability.” Therefore, Samsung intends to simplify it, thereby making it more accessible and more suitable to the needs of users.
In addition to this, One UI 7 is expected to bring many new features. It was reported earlier this week that the update will include support for Large Folders.
It is also expected that first-party app icons will undergo major changes. According to multiple reports, Samsung is drawing inspiration from iOS for the new One UI 7 app icons, although it remains to be seen how this will turn out.
