The Redmi Note series is currently being worked on by Xiaomi. All three Redmi Note 14 models are in development, as confirmed by the phones’ recent appearances on China’s Radio Certification.

Kartikey Singh, who regularly shares details about Xiaomi products on X (formerly Twitter), has revealed the camera details of the Redmi Note 14 Pro+. This seems more like a downgrade than an upgrade based on the leaked details.

Featuring a 50MP lens, the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ features a triple camera setup on the back. This is a downgrade from its predecessor, the Note 13 Pro+, which had a 200MP main camera. Xiaomi might compensate with a better image sensor, however.

As before, there will be an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP macro lens. The tipster claims Xiaomi originally planned to include a telephoto lens but decided against it.

Furthermore, a report earlier this week suggests the Note 14 Pro+ will have a curved-edge 1.5K OLED panel, a plastic frame, and an optical fingerprint sensor.
