The Vivo X200 series of smartphones is expected to be announced in October. Last week, tipster Digital Chat Station leaked details about the periscope telephoto camera on the alleged X200 Pro. DCS revealed the details about the X200 Pro’s primary camera in a new leak.

The leaker did not reveal the name of the device in the Weibo post shown above. According to the comments section, the post may refer to the Vivo X200 Pro.

According to the leak, the X200 Pro will feature a 22nm Sony sensor. It mentions a 50-megapixel sensor with a 1/1.28-inch size and an impressive f/1.57 aperture.

Vivo X100 Pro, which debuted in China in October 2024, features a 50-megapixel Sony IMX989 primary camera. In comparison, the X200 Pro’s primary camera sensor seems smaller. We expect the X200 Pro to provide excellent low-light performance and depth of field control, despite its high-quality sensor and aperture specifications.

It has been reported that the Vivo X200 Pro will have a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. With True-TCG HDR technology, VCS 3.0, and Vivo’s first imaging chip generation, the series is expected to be among the top smartphones on the market. As a result of these advancements, night scene photography, backlit portrait shooting, and telephoto capabilities are expected to improve significantly.
