The promotional material for the entire Pixel 9 series leaked out on Friday, revealing key details. New renders of the Pixel 9 Pro Fold have appeared from the same source. As well as showing us the foldable phone’s colour options, it also gives us a clearer look at it. As the successor to the Pixel Fold that debuted in 2022, the Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold is expected to arrive in 2019. In its upcoming offering, Google seems to have made plenty of changes.

As compared to its predecessor, which had a wider aspect ratio, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold looks like a proper foldable device. The external screen is taller and looks more like a slab phone. The device has a punch-hole cutout in the centre and symmetrical bezels on all sides. There are also symmetrical bezels surrounding the internal screen. In the top right corner, there is a punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper.

The Pixel 9 Pro Fold has rounded corners that should make it easier to hold. There are two pill-shaped cutouts on the back panel that accommodate three sensors and an LED flash unit outside the rectangular camera island. On the right edge are the volume rocker and power button. According to the leaked renders, the upcoming foldable will be available in two colours: Obsidian and Porcelain.
